  • Masterclass: Get Your Feet Up!

    LEVEL: can be tailored to all levels!

    2 - 2.5 hours

    A fun vinyasa flow class designed to get your feet up off the mat — that means lots of arm balances and inversions - with the chance to explore how physical challenges can teach us real-world lessons! With variations for everyone from arm balance beginners to the expert, we will move through a fun sequence of transitions and balances that will get the whole body involved.

  • What Happens Between: The Power of Transitions

    The physical practice of yoga helps us get to know ourselves better through what our individual bodies tell us as we move. The transformative power of yoga begins with this ability to listen, and that is what we will do in this workshop. By breaking down common yoga transitions and postures, we will explore the beauty of each person's uniqueness, helping you grow your practice faster. By moving intelligently on our mats, we build the strength and flexibility that is the necessary foundation for a strong yoga practice.

  • Off The Wall

    LEVEL: Anyone who can hold a handstand against the wall

    2.5 - 3 hours

    Using the wall for inversions is a wonderful way to increase strength and learn techniques for your inversions, but sometimes we get stuck there! In this workshop we will look specifically at how to face your fears and improve your technique for becoming independent in your inversions and not rely on the wall. By delving into the reasons we become dependent on the wall, we will establish a foundation of physical balance and inner trust in ourselves to take our inversions to the middle of the room!

  • Holla Hollowback

    ALL LEVELS

    2 - 3 hours

    The hollowback shape is a variation of heart opening postures that can open up spaces in the body neglected by many traditional backbends. In this workshop we will unlock the upper back, chest, and shoulders and move through the many variations of a hollowback. With many examples and tips for adding these into your practice, you may begin to see ALL of your backbends transform!

  • Recruit the Glutes

    ALL LEVELS

    2 - 3 hours

    A typical yoga practice will do wonders to open your hips and lengthen your hamstrings, but this workshop is designed to do that AND build strength in those areas neglected by all our warriors and forward folds. Where there's strength and flexibility, there's more range of motion and better control. And guess what: strong hamstrings and glutes lead to better backbends, handstands, and smoother transitions -- so, this workshop is more than just you can get glutes of steel in your yoga practice, it's how you can advance all of your asana!

  • Yoga-nastics

    LEVEL: Intermediate

    2.5 - 3 hours

    The more variety we can add to our practice, the more mobility and awareness we can achieve. In this workshop we will find our inner child by exploring new ways of moving on our mats, incorporating gymnastics style postures and movements to our yoga practice. By bringing in elements of gymnastic transitions and training concepts, we can help bring more grace and fluidity to our vinyasa practice.

  • Put Your Backbend Into It

    ALL LEVELS

    2.5 - 3 hours

    This is a workshop for anyone wanting to take their backbends to the next level, or to feel more confident going into backbending postures, by tapping into the power of self-trust. We will explore some fun but challenging movements in ways that empower and strengthen! Looking at the anatomy and the physics of the backbend, we will go through techniques and tips for safely and effectively adding them to your practice.

  • What The Fascia!

    ALL LEVELS

    2.5 - 3 hours

    Flexibility is a largely misunderstood concept. In this workshop we will look at the importance of flexibility and its relation to strength, we will deepen our understanding of the anatomy of flexibility, and we will explore ways to improve our own mobility through working the fascia lines. Finally I will equip you with some tools and techniques to take with you into your own asana practice to continue working towards greater mobility, flexibility, and strength.
