I thought this was normal (it's not)...

If you liked my last blog about ankles, then you're in for a treat with this week's

"Brainy What-Why-How"

Your weekly nibble of brain-based tips to help you move and feel great!

🧠

What:

Your thoracic spine may hold the key to greater overall mobility and reduced pain.

My YTT waitlist has already been given a special rate for my next training! It's not too late to get the earlybird price for my next training. Click here to find out more!

Why?

The thoracic spine (the part of your spine that connects to the ribs) has tons of joints!

Movement through a joint = activation of the brain.

So joint-rich areas = lots of brain activation.

However: Tightness and stiffness in the thoracic spine is prevalent.

Anyways...if you've been reading these Brainy What-Why-How's, you'll probably know that when the brain gets lots of information about what's happening, it feels safer. And a safe-feeling brain = better overall mobility.

How:

So how can you put this into practice?

Get your thoracic spine moving in all the ways it's capable of moving! I show you how here

If you're really locked up in the thoracic spine (like I was) then it'll feel really hard but do try to isolate these movements (like I demonstrate in slide 4 here) -- i.e. don't let the shoulders or pelvis move.

These are such a winner that I put these in loads of my classes on Move With Adell -- including today's new flow: "Truly Twisty Full Body Flow"

This month the MWA theme is Satya -- being truthful -- to ourselves and others.

Thank you for reading!

You can't spell "mobility" without T-H-O-R-A-C-I---.... never mind,
