“but is this retreat right for me?”…
I know how frustrating a handstand journey can be, when you feel like you’ve been working on your handstands for ages with little or no progress.
And yes, it is often a matter of time and practice. But sometimes, it is also about understanding your body, your brain, and finding the right techniques FOR YOU.
I’ve been teaching handstands all over the world, from total beginners to people learning one-arm handstands, for nearly a decade. And I’ve been an avid handstand student for even longer!
This experience has equipped me with hundreds of tools for finding more balance, strength, playfulness and longer holds. As part of this retreat, I will be sharing with you all my tools you need to progress on YOUR OWN handstand journey, no matter where you are now.
My intention is for this week to take your handstands to the next level, but for you ALSO to walk away with tools you can use for months (or years!) to come.
All you need is the willingness to learn and a curiosity for what lies beyond your comfort zone!
WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING…
Adell is a great teacher and even better in person. I have learned the art of falling, lot of handstand drills, some backbends I didn’t know and lots of transitions and presses. Adell’s skill that I love the most is to always celebrate when you fall; its so empowering and means you are trying and evolving.
After this retreat I’m able to feel confident about practising handstands without spotters or walls!
Adell’s retreats are like her: practical, fun, challenging, unique and real. And Zineb, the amazing woman behind the retreat organisation, is extra lovable and helpful!
Now add a stunning hotel, flavourful moroccan food and some incredible women to share with and you got the best retreat ever!

I've never been to Morocco. What's it like?
Morocco is one of my favorite countries and that's because it's full of friendly locals, incredible food, stunning decor, and spectacular landscapes. A retreat like this is such a great way to explore Morocco for the first time as you'll be collected from the airport and driven back, and you can opt to stay with the group for any activities outside of the hotel. The area that this retreat is in is very safe, just 15 miles away from the bustling Marrakech. After experiencing the vibrant colors and smells of Marrakesh, you will get to retreat back to the enchanting simplicity and serenity of the hotel.
