Why add creativity to your yoga practice?

The way I see it, every single human is creative, even if you don't consider yourself "a creative type".

This is because we humans are SO GOOD at adapting and problem-solving. If you think about it, the ability to look at any situation and say, "hm, okay, this isn't working. Let's see how to change it" involves creative thinking.

So, yeah, you ARE creative!

And this challenging time we're in right now means we just need to get creative, and adapt to a new way of doing things. We get creative when we switch off the Thinking, Planning, Analysing part of our brains and get into a flow that's void of judgement or calculation. When we get into a flow state, we lose all concept of time and the world around us, and we're entirely focused on the activity at hand.

And that flow state is exactly what you'll get into in the 1st step of My Method for Creative Sequencing -- an online course I made to share all my methods for getting creative in your movement.

I believe this flow state is an integral part of basic human well-being. Because it's where we really ENJOY ourselves.

And if we're enjoying ourselves in our yoga practice, then we're:

1) not feeling "stuck"

2) motivated to keep going

3) excited to share it (particularly important for us teachers!)

I also see in myself and others that what we practice on our yoga mats is reflected in our lives off the mat. And so if we can open ourselves up to creative movement on our mat, perhaps we can hone this skill of thinking adapting to an unexpected situation a little better too.

Here's a little preview of what you'll get if you purchase My Method for Creative Sequencing

Now I'm going to try to really sell it to you. You can stop reading if you're like "um no thanks". But if you're kinda intrigued, then please READ ON:

After years of honing this method for my own classes, and then using the feedback received from three live workshops with 50 participants, I have put together this online course which consists of 19 videos with 19 accompanying PDFs.

There are 5 videos which run through the 5 steps that I use to come up with an entire class.

Then there are 12 more videos describing different tools I use to bring variety, newness, funkiness, and fun to asanas and/or transitions.

Finally there's a video and PDF on cueing -- valuable for the yoga teachers out there!

So how did I do? Did I sell it to you? If so, CLICK HERE to get it!

If not, that's cool too. I still love you, my friend!
