Let's get this week started well with your:

"Brainy What-Why-How"

Your weekly nibble of brain-based tips to help you move and feel great!

No. 3

What:

Your brain is in charge of your muscles, so if you want to change your muscles, then change your brain.

Meaning: mindful movement leads to greater change, and adding neurological "load" speeds up change.

Why:

Your brain is constantly adapting to your environment. That means, if you're sitting right now, then as you read these words, your brain is making sure you're getting BETTER at sitting.

Every single movement, breath, thought, is a "brain drill" because every thing you do changes your brain.

In a basic sense, there's one of two ways this can happen:

• Mindlessly, or

• Mindfully

How:

So how can we use this information to help our mobility?

My recommendation is today's new class on Move With Adell: Dynamic Legs and Abs Flow

In it, I guide you through some movements that will help your brain map out a range of motion that is super important for everyday life, but which many of us are weak in:

knees-over-toes

To increase the brain's learning of this movement, and to help the brain recognise it as "safe" and not "threatening" we add some neurological "load" -- by being mindful of what we're doing, and adding the option to further activate the cerebellum with some complex movements through the wrist and hand.

If you're like "umm...hang on...I'm not sure I get it..." then, the best way is just to experience it yourself! Start your 7-day free trial of Move with Adell and jump into today's new flow!
